Digital X-rays
Our digital radiography is ultimately better for patients' health, care, and diagnosis. It creates better X-rays faster and reduces the amount of radiation patients receive by at least 90% as compared to conventional radiography.
Digital X-rays are taken using sensors that transmit the image directly into the computer monitor, within moments, decreasing time lost in waiting for development of films and allowing for immediate retaking if necessary.
Digital radiography allows Dr. Bohay to better detect and diagnose pathos present because he has a larger image to work with, zoom in on, and make changes in color or contrast. This larger image also helps you, the patient, to understand the doctor's explanations and treatment options available.
Digital X-rays also allow patient records to be compiled and sorted easily and efficiently in the computer and can show trends in patients' teeth over time. These records can be easily electronically transferred to the patient's insurance company to receive a faster claim turnaround or to a specialist for immediate attention.
In addition, this new technology is friendly to the environment since no chemicals are needed for developing the image.
Intraoral Camera
Our intraoral camera uses a tiny fiber-optic wand to easily take vivid photographs of the inside of your mouth. This allows us to let you visualize areas in your mouth that are of concern or need treatment.

No-braces Teeth Alignment
If you want straighter teeth without bulky metal braces, we now have simple, cost effective alternatives for minor tooth movement: Red, White & Blue (RBW) and Simpli 5. These systems are not braces but rather a series of clear, removable aligners made of clear, lightweight plastic that will reposition your teeth without the hassle and pain of traditional orthodontia.
The retainers are designed to treat minor rotations, torque, tip and spacing problems in the social six anteriors and work to coax patients' teeth in small incremental movements, getting them progressively closer to the desired result.
Most patients wear each retainer for two to four weeks in the easy-to-remember sequence, transitioning from the red to the white to the blue appliances, with blue serving as the final appliance and retainer. They are comfortable for patients to wear and easy to talk with. Whether you are in school, on the go with family, or a professional in the public eye, RWB and Simpli 5 aligners fit easily into busy lives.
